On the 15th of February 2023 we hosted our first ever luncheon event and what an event it turned out to be! Our CEO Idris Patel kicked off the day with a warm welcome and some background on our charity. SJ Magic performed a mesmerising magic show that had the audience captivated.
To get those brain cells going and build relationships a table quiz soon had the over 65s competitive streak going. A scrumptious 3 course meal sponsored by our long-standing partner Saffron went down a treat. The afternoon included a raffle with many prizes won including a generous donation by Noir restaurant for a voucher to a meal at their restaurant.
Dao Lu ended the day with a scintillating Tai Chi performance, getting the over 65s up on their feet and performing Tai Chi to help digest some of the scrumptious food.
