Art Therapy
Supporting Humanity runs quarterly free Art therapy classes, using various art techniques to support the mental wellbeing of attendees. Each class has a different theme and allows participants to express their emotions through their creativity.
Each lesson is attended by emotional support volunteers should any attendees require some face to face support outside the room. The class is run by Sumy Khoda, qualified in emotional support and Chair of Trustees. Sumy has a background in art and is able to draw on her experiences to help drive creativity in the classes.

First Children’s Art Therapy Class 2025
On Saturday 15th March we held our first ever children’s art therapy run by Neemat Auladin of Neemcreates – the class was attended by over 26 children and the they traced and pained some beautiful mosques on canvases! Amazing feedback from attendees and their parents! Next class is 27th April for 12 and over / adults….

Art Therapy for Mental Wellbeing – 17th September
Art therapy for Mental Wellbeing! Supporting Humanity ran an Art therapy session with Saiba, a qualified psychologist and creative successful artist for community members looking for a way to express themselves. The event was a huge success and Supporting Humanity plan to run these regularly.
